Resource Strategic Change Facilitator’s expertise is in change management and organisational development. The company is involved in developing change strategies for Local Authority, Central Government and clients in the private and not-for-profit sectors. Resource’s particular expertise is in facilitation and the process of participative change using the Process Iceberg.

A major part of Resource’s work is focused on facilitating strategic events, running workshops and overseeing projects to support new ways of working. Resource has worked closely with Leeds Metropolitan University in the development of the first Professional Qualification in Facilitation that has been running successfully for 4 years.

Facilitation Courses in New Zealand, using the Process Iceberg methodology, are now available in the public and private sector. The workshops are run by Rob Handyside in conjunction with Handyside as part of a joint venture with Resource. Resource is working with Rob to ensure that the content suits the audience in New Zealand. Rob said "The Programme is well received and is seen as fresh and an exciting way to get buy-in and commitment from groups and gives people the skills to tackle organisational issues".

Public and in-house Process Iceberg Facilitation Programmes are now being delivered in Poland, under license in conjunction with Zmiana pl. Jolanta Marszewska (Sielecka) of Zmiana, says, “There is no word for “Facilitation” in Poland and so we are developing an awareness of facilitation and showing how it can be used as a powerful and dynamic approach to tackling business issues, solving problems, developing strategy and forming creative ideas”. The next development is a facilitated approach to Project Management.

Resource Strategic Change Facilitators has developed ADaPT®ability, a flexible, on-line profiling and auditing tool for profiling individuals and groups as well as undertaking organisational surveys. ADaPT®ability measures competence; readiness for change; training needs and also provides the basis for individual 360º feedback. ADaPT®ability is flexible enough to provide standard questionnaires as well as the ability to input a tailored questionnaire to suit specific needs.

Resource has, over his many years of experience, evolved a methodology for Scenario Planning that focuses on the key drivers in the external environment and assesses these against organisational capabilities. This enables teams to manage change in a way that is responsive to a rapidly changing environment.

Leadership development at every level is key to an organisation’s success. We DON’T provide off the shelf courses. Instead we provide tailored Action Centred development for leaders to equip them for their role.

Resource has, in response to client need, developed a video editing capability to capture training and strategic documentaries around the change issues. Resource has produced DVDs for Network Rail, Egyptian Liquid Natural Gas, Premier Foods and for trainers and for various other organisations.
